I’m officially back on duty as affiliate manager after spending 5 days in the hospital with my 15 month old boy Lucas. He’s much better now and happy to be home. I talk about what happened with him in the 2nd half of the affiliate video update below if you’re interested.
In the first half I talk about why these next 5 days are so big for you as an affiliate and why these last chance emails are so important to get out. I also go over the leader board as well which is always fun.
Last year between this day and the day the event started (5 days total) sales increased by 2.5 fold because of the pre-event closeout we did with the video bonuses. And we are of course doing that again this year…
This is the most important email to send out of all the emails we’ve done to date.
Emails are in your affiliate area which you can access at by logging in to the right. These last chance emails are now live!
You can send this out any time between now and May 7th when the event begins and the pre-event bonuses go away. If you want to really push I suggest getting one email out asap and then sending a “Less than 24 hours left” email early Monday morning (the 7th).
That’s what we’ll be doing…
Also, this is a GREAT opportunity to move up the leader board. Last year the pre-event closeout did more in sales then the final closeout so this is a really
critical time to mail out and increase your commissions.

Lots of exciting news today! Opt-in contest details have been released! Affiliates are already winning mac-book air computers, TVs, ipads and much more! There are 38 winners so far. Go here to see if you’ve won and where you stand on the leader board:

Things are going REALLY well! We’re at just over 98,000 opt-ins and it’s only day 4! And sales are over 60% higher than they were last year!

Yesterday was officially launch day for the 2012 Tapping World Summit as the pre-event video series kicked off with Nick Ortner on “How to Rewire the Brain with EFT”. Although we had a little hiccup with our server very early yeterday morning everything has been running smooth since.
The good news is that the stats so far are fantastic! I’ll share those with you below but first a quick reminder…
Video #2 goes live TOMORROW (Wednesday, April 18th, 2012). Those emails are live in the cart now but if you haven’t sent to Video 1 yet do that first.
Video 2 goes live tomorrow but you can send any time this week.
If you’re still looking for Video 1 emails just keep scrolling through the emails until you get to the day 1 emails.
OK, on to the stats…
1 – TOTAL SALES
Total sales are more than double what they were last year on day 1!! (We’ve made some very nice improvements to conversions for this year). The average amount spent per order has gone up from last year by 32% also.
2 – OPT-INS
We’re at 49,000 opt-ins at the time I’m sending this out, a good 7,000 opt-ins ahead of last year’s pace at this time (even though we had the hiccup yesterday morning)!
A couple people have asked about opt-in rates. This is really important…
IGNORE what your affiliate account says in terms of opt-ins. It is NOT accurate for most people. Opt-in rates are actually around 45% based on google website optimizer. I explain this further a little ways down.
3 – OPT-IN CONTEST
I had planned to release the opt-in contest yesterday but with the headaches we had we didn’t get to final touches on the page with all the details. I’ll have that later today or tomorrow.

Keep in mind that the actual opt-ins in your affiliate account are NOT accurate because they only show an email when they are new to The Tapping Solution and we have over 500,000 people in our database. The affiliate contest is based on new opt-ins though as its the only measure we have.
Even if they are inactive with us and now coming back through you, it will not show it as an opt-in. The opt-in page is converting at an average of 45% right now.
Also, because of our cookie system many people who have already been to the page from us sending out over the weekend or other affiliates sending out have been shot right past the page to the video series. Our calculations show us that roughly 10% of all people who hit the page today were already cooked in to the page and were not shown an opt-in page.
Remember, any body who has already opted in that you send out to with video 2 will shoot right past the opt-in page.

OK, so a number of affiliates have asked me about opt-in rates in their accounts seeming low. I want to address this as those numbers are NOT accurate. People who have promoted us in the past are especially likely to see lower opt-in rates. Keep in mind that the average opt-in rate in google website optimizer has been at around 45%.
So here’s why the 1shoppingcart opt-in rates are NOT accurate:
1 – 1Shoppingcart.com ONLY counts it as a lead if the person is NEW to our system. We have over 500,000 emails in our shoppingcart, so anybody that you send over that is already in our database, regardless of whether or not they’re active with us right now or not, will NOT show up as a lead. 1shoppingcart.com only says it’s a lead if it is somebody NEW to our system.
This lowers opt-in rates for everyone. It’s especially noticeable for those in the EFT Tapping community. You would expect Tapping lists to convert really high on the opt-in rate but they’re actually the lowest in terms of what you see in the shopping cart because so many of those people are already in our system.
So again, IGNORE what the perceived opt-in rate is in your affiliate area. The clicks (which are raw clicks) to leads (which are only new leads to our system) rate is not accurate of how the actual opt-in page is converting for you.
2 – Also, we have a cookie system that makes it so that people only have to opt-in ONE time ever during the launch so that they don’t see opt-in pages over and over again. Also, if they click on any of our links during the launch, they never have to opt-in again. We do this because we don’t want your traffic to have to see an opt-in page if they’re already on our list or have alreayd opt-ed in once during the launch. If they already have the special cookie set on their computer it will shoot them past the opt-in page and send them right to the video. Already in the first 24 hours we’ve had 14,000 people hit the opt-in page and get shot right through.
